Assistant Federal Public Defender

David L. Kaczor serves as Assistant Federal Public Defender for the Federal Defenders Office of the Western District of Michigan. He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where he was elected student congress president, and Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was a student bar representative.

Mr. Kaczor began his career with the Barry County Prosecutor's Office as an assistant prosecutor followed by eight years at the Kent County Defense Office where he tried over a hundred felony cases involving numerous murder cases. After leaving the defenders office Mr Kaczor joined the firm of Warner, Norcross & Judd, and Schenk and later Boncher & Prasher. Mr. Kaczor is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Kent County Bar Association.
