Jacob Schmidt is an Investigator for the Federal Public Defender Office for the Western District of Michigan since 2021. Mr. Schmidt studied at Grand Valley State University in Criminal Justice receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. Before his tenure at the Federal Public Defender Office, Mr. Schmidt served as a law enforcement officer. Mr. Schmidt is a member of the National Defender Investigator Association.
