Paul Peterson is the Assistant Federal Public Defender working out of the Marquette Branch of the Federal Public Defender's Office for the Western District of Michigan. A life-long resident of the Upper Peninsula, he is a graduate of Northern Michigan University and the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Peterson was engaged in the general practice of law in the central U.P. before joining the Defender’s Office. He is a member of both the Michigan Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
